Weather

Lightly snowing all day. Overcast skies. Basically no wind below treeline. Moderate W winds at treeline.

Snowpack

Snowpack depths of 40-80 cm below treeline with basically no slab development. ~20 cm facets sitting beneath decomposing and precip particles. Similar structure on many near treeline slopes, with slightly deeper snow depths, 70-100 cm. Same structure with faceted base found on all aspects traveled (S-E-N). Above treeline (but still near treeline), there were patchy areas with mid-pack slab development. 1 finger slab that propagated fractures in an ECT. This may be more widespread at higher elevations.
