Weather
Tour began as mostly sunny and rapidly changed to cloudy. Temperatures decreased with elevation due to west winds.sustained 15mph + west winds.
Snowpack
Red Lady Bowl had cross-loading. Alpine area below summit ridge had stiff wind slabs, turning into shallow unconsolidated snow on surface within tree line. Within the aspens, sun crusts were intermingled with new unconsolidated snow on the surface, but sun crusts were dominant. Broke through one 2-inch crust resting with facets sandwiched between underlying crust.
