Snowpack
On the up: Below TL on the sunnies the snowpack had a yucky sun crust and was moist underneath. This transitioned to moonscape scouring and hard slab above treeline. On the down: The Idaho SZ showed evidence of cross-loading but was supportive HS with wind buff on top. This transitioned to creamy surface conditions, much of it on bed surface from previous avalanching. Widespread evidence of avalanches from the last storm cycle. We worked the aspect but hit crustville at ~10.2k and moved to the gully. Lots of water moving out of the pack below 10.5k Good ski. No signs of current instability. The sunnies BTL are in a melt-freeze regime as high as 11k. Wx station wasn't working this morning. Let me know if you need an IT mountaineer :)
