Weather
Light snow fell throughout our 3 hours at the pass, wind was calm, turned to blue sky by the time we left.
Snowpack
Wind slabs were pretty non-existent on the West Side of the pass, persistent slab was buried pretty deeply, a growing concern, but the new snow was still untouched, and the descent was fairly stable, with some loose snow sluff coming down after us, but no signs of crackage or whumphs. I did overhear someone saying the East Side Chutes were "ready to slide."
