Did one lap on the south side of Baldy Rocks and another up the Lighting Strike ridge and down the west/north-western aspect towards Twin Lakes. Dug a pit on just under the Baldy Rocks summit on the southern aspect. Total Depth 150cm. 10cm loose powder not the surface densifying to consolidated wet by 45cm. No layers/surfaces of concern. Extended block test showed no signs of any propagation. Skiing was great! Some sharks and holes still hiding, particularly on the western aspect of Lightning Strike, so couldn’t fully open up yet. Depth diminished and became difficult to navigate by the valley bottom. Shaping up nice!
