Ice climbing - Stanley headwall

Mild inversion up at the headwall today. The track up to the French Reality bench is well beaten in. Significant hoar frost almost all the way up to the gear-up cave, variable crust not supportive under foot. Traverse slope felt quite stable. No wind, no visible avalanche activity.
