Deep at the Farm

Deep day out at the Farm today. We skinned up the standard route and over the north side and then back down to the road. We found 110cms of snow on last weeks crust at the top of our run. Ski penetration for skinning was bout 30cms. The top ~20cms being very low density, likely from the yesterday/last night. The top layer was sloughing on steeper terrain which we largely avoided. Windy at ridge top however it was quite calm in the trees. Alpine appeared to have some wind effect. Overall, some high quality H2O. We did see some avalanche debris on the higher alpine slopes, some seemed pretty significant but it didn't seem like it was in the last few days.
