Crusty down low upto 1700m then there is soft snow in not wind effected areas, and full coverage. Some ridge tops are down to the rocks but in protected areas we found 150cm of snow. At 2000m in sheltered terrain we had medium effort planar hand shear results but a bit higher when we saw minor cracking we had no hand shear results only breaking apart. Skiing was really good in 20-30 cm of wind pressed snow. 50cm down there is a 30cm thick strong crust. The snow pack felt right side up with a probe until the last 10cm which dropped out. While we were out there was a bit of snow transporting.
