Standard slack journey to get to Molar’s North - Toblerone. As we booted across Molar’s ridge, we assesed the snow pack on the south face, eastern aspect. 40cm ish wind slab on facet layer. This is up high on the ridge and eastern aspect. Southern aspects on slack ridges have proven to be stable. This portion of the ridge doesnt have much rider compaction. We were dropping North but these pits made our travel more cautious.
