Conditions report

Location
Lake Louise, Lake O'Hara, Wapta & Freshfield Icefields

A number of photos showing the current conditions of peaks and glaciers around Lake Louise, Lake O'Hara, the Wapta and the Freshfields have been posted on the Parks Mountain Safety FB site. A couple of the photos are attached and a link to the other photos is included here: https://goo.gl/ejzJct

We observed tracks up the West Face of Mt Lefroy yesterday. The face still has a strip of snow which allows you to reach the summit ridge, but it is disappearing quickly and a cold morning would be desirable to reduce the risk of rockfall. Hungabee is in good condition and the Morrison Buttress on Mt Odaray looks dry.
