Snowpack felt good, though whumphing sounds all throughout the approach to Zoa Peak. Dug a pit on the North facing slope which held well - released 5 taps from the shoulder about 10 inches down. Visible weak layer both around 30 inches from surface and 40", and were noticeably crusty.
