Less bomber than other parts of the world

We experienced a significant whoomph that turned us around. Old stiff wind slab on depth hoar in a steep north feature in the Kananaskis. Variable snowpack depths accross the feature from previous wind events.. probably not that representative to deeper stronger snowpacks in the area.
