Good early season conditions in Jimmy Junior bowl today. The approach up the creek is thin and bushy but works fine. Caution skiing down. 60-80 cm in the main bowl, generally strong for the Rockies early season with two buried weak layers. Snowpack test results showed sudden collapse failures near the base of the snowpack. No new avalanches observed. The most notable observation over the last few days is the lack of wind. 10-20 cm of fluff on the surface up to 2400m.
