Powing! Early season is delivering the goods! Early season hazards are still lurking with open creeks and stumps! Storm slab is producing moderate results in test pit (see snowpack obs). Visibility was too poor to observe quality observations in the distance. Freezing level was sitting at about 1500m.

The top 20cm of newest storm snow is sitting on a small layer of surface hoar and is the most reactive producing moderate sudden collapse results. The top 50cm is sitting on a crust and is producing hard sudden planar results. The rest of the snowpack is generally well consolidated with a right side up snowpack. The Nov 11 melt freeze crust is sitting 115cm down.
