The top 20cm of newest storm snow is sitting on a small layer of surface hoar and is the most reactive producing moderate sudden collapse results. The top 50cm is sitting on a crust and is producing hard sudden planar results. The rest of the snowpack is generally well consolidated with a right side up snowpack. The Nov 11 melt freeze crust is sitting 115cm down.
