Variable snow conditions and depth in the Blow Me Down Mountains. Snowmobile approach from Frenchman's cove smooth and well filled in, but the wind has certainly had an effect on the alpine terrain. No evidence of recent avalanche activity or instability. Surface hoar found throughout area that could pose a problem if it gets buried with the incoming snow. Wind sheltered alpine areas will be the most likely spots that this may occur.
