Rode sleds out to Big Y drainage and took some laps on the north-facing slopes immediately west of the glacier. Most slopes were heavily wind-affected and mostly scoured but there was some powder over wind slab to be found in sheltered areas. No signs of recent instability were noted. Day was mostly cloudy with a moderate north wind at ridgetop, but no snow left to blow. Rode up to the col past Bryant Lake at the end of the day and the SW-facing slope into the Chilkoot was crusty and wind hammered. Most of the north-facing slopes off of Fraser peak had slid a few days prior (mid-week last week?) up to size 2.5.
