Visibility was poor towards customs so we opted for Log Cabin tree skiing where visibility was better. There were two other groups out. There was no wind and the snow was amazing in the trees. Some of the best I’ve seen in the pass. Definitely out of the trees we found evidence of that hard wind slab beneath about 10 cm fresh dry snow. Fresh snow easily sloughed off these wind slab areas. We didn’t venture much higher.
