Skied in the Amiskwi area from Jan 26-Feb 2. Arrived in the middle of the rain event and throughout the week skied rain crusts as high as 2500 m elevation. Above 2500 m there was mostly wind packed powder that made for OK skiing. Following the rain we saw many naturals avalanches mostly releasing from steep and thin spots in the alpine. Natural activity tapered off as the week went on. Overall ski conditions were stable, no whumpfing, cracking observed.
