Several scores of small soft slabs in Silver Sands

We saw at least 100 small soft slab avalanches along cutbanks in the top 15 cm of new snow. We didn't get good alpine views, but based on the wind affected snow at lower elevations, we suspect there's probably fresh wind slabs up there. It was chilly at the trailhead in the morning (around -15), but warmed up by at least 10 degrees in the afternoon.
