Weather
Scattered clouds, calm wind. 15-20 degree
Snowpack
profile included below widespread collapsing still occuring on Northerly aspects There is a V layer about 35-40 cm down that was reactive in tests (several ECTP12 SC)
Avalanche
Remotely triggered an avalanche from a meadow above the slope. Had 9 people gathered there, resulting in a large collapse which got the slope rolling. AS-r-SS R2 D2 about 100-120' wide by 300' vertical Even though the buried V layer was most reactive in tests, the avalanche ran on the faceted snow near the bottom of the pack. We could not repeat the failure in tests.
