Up to 60cm of new snow in the last week with little wind effect. Although this sounds great, the snow pack is very unsupportive and the alder bashing is vicious. It took us almost 2 hours to gain the alpine from the highway. Lots of early season hazards made the decent challenging. If you head out this weekend I would avoid treeline elevations
