took a look at the snowpack on a N and S aspect. Shallow snowpack - 80 cms on S aspect and a bit more on N. Rain crust still present and lower 1/2 of the snowpack faceted on both aspects. Moderate to hard results on S and easy to moderate results in a wind loaded N facing feature. Overall the snowpack was thin and wind effected with pockets of wind loading on lee features. Noted that there were many small cornices and wind loaded features in locations not normally present at our location but we were in a low elevation sheltered location and could not really see what was going on above us
