sorry for late submission. CTE5 SC down 13 on partly decomposed SH below 3cm P crust, CTM20 down 80 on November 5th crust facets. The whumpfing observed was localized to a 2000-2050m, 20-25deg gently rolling terrain. localized sun crust on steeper solar open features between 1700-1950. Widespread SH above 1800m. 5-10cm storm snow on F crust up to 2000m. This widespread Dec 11 SH at and above treeline will be something to keep in mind with this ongoing storm cycle.

We couldn't get close enough to see what was the ground cover but we suspect smooth grass cover. Of note the avalanche started on steep convex roll and triggered a glide crack to ground that extended about 200m further to the skiers left side. I suspect that portion didn't slide because of being on more supported concave slope position. We usually see this kind of slides more commonly in the spring.. we stayed on lower angle supported slopes that day.
