Lots of new snow especially near Nelson mt. Probed 240 cm on north aspects. 20 degree slope moderate to hard failures at 40 cm and 120cm layers. Much less snow above tree line and large wind deposits on north and east slopes. Whumpfs evident and some shooting cracks in storm layer
