Lower pitches of the falls are mostly snow covered so we hiked up to somewhere around halfway, ice up the top was pretty good quality with the odd patch of really thin ice. Most of the snow had decent ice underneath, one of the lower pitches was fairly thin ice on snow Surface hoar growing lower toward the valley bottom, stopped seeing it when we got higher up.
