Skied the avalanche path just west of the trees. Started our descent just above treeline, before the top of the moraine, to avoid the steepest terrain. Snow stability seemed very good and we did not dig a pit. The snow in the run was excellent knee deep and fluffy. As we got to the creek and started heading skiers right to the ski out, precipitation turned to rain and the snow was very heavy. The skin track on the way out was sticky and compact from the rain. The creek traverses were sufficiently covered in snow that we didn't need to take our skis off.
