Avalanche

A group of two skiers traveling along a ridgeline remotely triggered a large avalanche about 200 feet below them on a southeast-facing aspect. The avalanche ran at least 1500 vertical feet and was large enough to bury a person and break several branches and small shrubs. The avalanche erased a different skiers tracks from earlier that day.
