Weather

Cold (0 to -10 with wind chill), 30-40 mph winds with gusts to 50 mph, about 11,000 ft, NE aspect

Snowpack

Shallow snowpack overall due to wind scouring, however where there was snow there was a layer of facets (about a foot) with an equal size layer (about a foot) of hardpack/ wind slab on top. The new snow from the evening up until the observation point was being loaded onto the wind slab causing collapse

Avalanche

We witnessed one small avalanche/ really big spin drift event that would have knocked a climber off the ice but not buried anyone as well as lots of wompfing and shooting cracks as seen in the images
