Snowpack

The snowpack in the area consisted of 20 to 40 cm of new snow over 40 to 80 cm of old snow. In wind-exposed areas the old snow was primarily hard wind drifts. In more sheltered areas the old snow was well-formed depth hoar (4-6mm).
