Conditions report

Location
Mount Robson

Mt. Robson Provincial Park and EMBC share a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Parks Canada, Visitor Safety to be a resource for technical rescue in the mountainous terrain of the Provincial Park.

Jasper Visitor Safety technicians and specialists have been conducting Class D (long line) pilot testing over the last 3 days.

Flying and landing at all elevations. Some previous avalanches observed at treeline and below, all loose wet, and solar aspects. Recent serac activity noted in the Alpine. Unfortunately I can't comment on the snow conditions at the dome and above; no boots on the ground.

The pictures are were taken between 1200 and 1500, on June 16, 2019.
