Trail still not snowfree

Went for a walk to see if the snow covering the trail up to Perley Rock had all melted out. It hasn't. All of the recent June snow was gone, but there are a couple of old winter snow patches left in the last 200-300m at the top of the trail, and while some of it is OK travel, some sections of these snow patches are melting from the top and the bottom, making them hollow. These last sections on snow need extra caution right now because it would be easy to suffer a serious injury if you punched through a hollow patch of snow, especially on the way down. Other than that I was told by some Parks staff that all the seasonal bridges at Rogers Pass are in and almost all of the Perley Rock trail was in excellent shape.
