Weather

Cold, clear, and calm at and below tree line on easterly aspects. Some wind loading on ridge tops at higher elevations.

Snowpack

A few inches of soft snow on top of some facet/crust layers, all on top of a stout slab which sits on top of depth hoar. No cracks or whumpfs observed.

Avalanche

Saw what looked like debris from an old avalanche in headwall between No Name and Mount Russell.
