Snowpack
No whumps, cracking or signs of instability even when leaving the established skintrack. At 11660' on an ESE aspect at about treeline (39.6919, -105.8897), we dug a large pit and conducted three tests, CT, ECT, and PST w/results as follows: CT16 w/SP (sudden planar) shear at 50cm depth on readily apparent melt/freeze/ice layer ECTN18 (partial fracture propagation only) at same 50cm layer noted above PST 40/100 Arr Nothing really remarkable below the 50cm layer.
Avalanche
No new avalanches were observed. Old, well-buried debris was visible in the steep east-facing terrain below Pat's Knob.
