Weather

Blue skies, cold, wind picked up as soon as I reached treeline.

Snowpack

Still faceted in deep shady forest, but good support in the open areas on a mostly north, northeast slope. Sadly lots of willows still showing. Wind has done some damage above treeline. The evil breakable crust.

Avalanche

The photos are from an older avalanche on McNamee south. I also saw an old one on an east aspect that broke a 100 feet below the corniced ridge, but definitely a couple weeks old.
