Snowpack
Snowpack Obs from moving Obs throughout the day. All Obs on NE-E aspects BTL HS 130-150cm HN24 3-4cm Snowpack structure: Dry new snow, moistened by the sun where exposed on surface. 10cm firm but moist slab on NE aspects over wet snow to the ground. On E aspects, thin unsupportable crust on new snow covered wet snow to the ground. Wet slab snowpack structure was widespread observed BTL.
Avalanche
No Ax obs, but: NE aspects: Reactive snowpack observed in non ax terrain. Widespread collapsing throughout tour, with whoompfs and cracks propagating 20+m. Snowpack was supportable in shaded areas. E aspects Reactive snowpack observed in non ax terrain. Widespread collapsing throughout tour, with whoompfs and cracks propagating 20+m. Snowpack was nearly universally unsupportable, skipen 50-100cm.
