1st test profile @2060m on Bruins Ridge, SE asp, HS 85cm CTH25(RP) down 50cm on DF size 2-3, on storm interface Slab broke when fracture initiated 2nd test prof @2498m below Bruins Pass, S asp, HS 100cm 2x CTH25(SP) down 52cm on DF size 1-2, most likely on same storm interface First test, block slid out into pit Both tests the slab broke on or before fracture initiation Windslab down 20cm found on lee slopes and on S/SW slopes due to Northerly flow at ~2300m and above Skiing was good in the alpine, with a few rocks still ready to grab your skis Excellent skiing, and generally more snow at treeline (HS 85-115cm in places) Definitely early season, take it easy out there!
