Ski quality great today. Lots of new snow that gets more wind affected as you climb out above the trees. Dug a pit on west facing slope at approx 2300m and had 2 layers fail, one 45cm down on our 8th tap and one 25cm down on 12th tap. We chose to ski moderate slopes all under 30 degrees. Will try to get more scientific with my reports as the season goes. Stay safe, everyone.
