Storm snow appeared to be bonding well to underlying storm snow and wind slab layers. We did not see any signs of instability throughout the day and ski cuts on 35-40 degree slopes were nonreactive aside from some surface sloughage. We performed two adjacent compression tests in test pit ~20 m below shoulder of north Iago bowl on north facing aspect dipping at 23 degrees and at ~1600 m elevation. Results: -Test 1: CTM 19 RP down 40 cm at bottom of previous 24 hour storm snow; CTH 27 RP down 60 cm at bottom of previous 72 hour snow (interface w underlying wind slab); CTH 30 SP down 73 cm -Test 2: CTM 14 BRK down 40 cm; CTH 25 BRK down 60 cm
