Did a quick CT and ECT on lower ridge of white queen facing N around 2000m on a 35deg slope. CT - hard planar failure on 30 with no slide. Once force was applied behind the block it slid on smooth SH above the Dec 22 rain crust. ECT - no results until a skier jumped above the isolated block. After 3 hard jumps the block failed on the Dec 22 rain crust, again on SH layer above the crust. Failures occurred 80cm down from snow surface. All snow above this layer gradually changed from F to 4f and seemed fairly unconsolidated. The slope rode very well after the tests, with deep powder ski penetration.
