Spent Sat & Sun around Fraser Lake. Saturday was spent on the far east end of Fraser chutes. We skinned up to 1150m. Probed 240cm down and dug a pit down 120cm. Got a Resistant Planar result at 25 taps, 45cm below surface. Slope was ~25 deg and SE facing. Snow was heavy and becoming wet on the surface. Signs of loose wet were everywhere in steep, rocky terrain. Sunday, we skinned part way up the East ridge of Fraser Peak, to approximately 1250m and skied a short, 35 deg face down toward the lake. Wind was wind hardened on top of the ridge but medium density powder on the face. No signs of windlsabs or shooting cracks anywhere we skinned or skied. Sled tracks everywhere, many on 35-40 deg slopes. Only signs of loose avalanches in steep, rocky areas. Wind was intermittent and noticed some minor snow transport at times when gaining the ridge. Much better skiing than the south aspects.
