Skied the couloir just below all souls prospect peak on Mt Schaffer. 15cm of snow in the couloir on top of a consolidated base. Phenomenal skiing, so good we boot packed and skied it twice. Went as high as the severe narrow constriction most of the way at the top. Absolutely no result on ECT at top of fan other than a sore hand. Fan got light sun mid afternoon that softened the top layer without making it wet and produced impeccable skiing. An hour later on lap 2 a very light freeze crust had formed on the fan but not thick enough to ruin the skiing. Couloir stayed shaded all day and snow remained incredible. Get at it!
