4 riders noticed whumpfing and cracking towards the later afternoon while coming across open areas when riding steep trees on south east aspects. Slope angle at the signs of instability were approx 35-40 degrees. No further snow movement was noticed. Riders stayed away from open faces and adjusted their terrain choices for the remainder of the day. No pictures of the area where whumpfing or cracking occurred, included a photo to show what a beauty day it was.
