Weather

Light winds gusting Moderate at ridgeline actively transporting snow at a Moderate rate from a westerly direction.

Snowpack

Average height of snow was 130-180cm below the treeline on easterly aspect increasing to 230-300cm near the treeline on easterly aspects and 180-240cm near treeline on westerly aspects. Persistent weak layer exists on all slopes we travelled on at the base of the snowpack about 200-260cm deep.
