Broken skies with increasing clouds throughout the day. A couple short periods of sun, but not enough to warm snow surfaces. Mostly calm winds, no blowing snow.
Snowpack
Top of Owl Creek Pass HS of 145cm (10,114'). Upper W fork of the Cimarron at about 10,800' HS was 170cm in valley bottom meadows. In general 5-10cm of new from the last 24 on a slight crust, with 20-30cm of Feb 7 storm snow beneath, on top of buried facets or a crust depending on aspect. Had a decent look at some alpine terrain in the upper W fork before the clouds rolled in - not a ton of action from the last natural cycle. Moderate amounts of dry loose from steeper terrain and a couple D1-1.5 windslabs on high east facing. All looked to be surface with nothing stepping down. While traveling BTL no cracking, collapsing, or avalanches observed.
