Weather

Snowing. S1-S2 all afternoon. Winds were not gusty, but steady in the teens out of the NW. Temps were mild.

Snowpack

Close to two feet of storm snow on the pass. Some evidence of light-mod winds as the snow fell but no evidence of any large scale wind event. Storm snow is a sandwich of lower density snow with a denser middle. Got a large whumph on top of a knoll with primarily South and East aspects, could not see extent of collapse, though. Was on lower angle terrain at the time. Skied slopes under 35degrees, really good skiing but snowpack feels primed.

Avalanche

None.
