Weather

Breezy at times, snowfall rates of S-1(Flurries) with bursts of S2(almost an inch/hr), air temps were just below freezing(28-30ºF) but felt warm and humid.

Snowpack

The snowpack in the South Colony Basin has characteristics of an evolving spring time snowpack. Informal ski-pole probing had moderate to high amounts of resistance through test areas. BootPen and SkiPen were shallow and equal on all test slopes. BootPen= 15-20cm and SkiPen=2-5cm(new snow).
