mostly clear with some high clouds. light winds throughout day. temps single digits in morning, warming to teens by afternoon.

Snowpack

dug test pit on a 28 degree E aspect at 10,400 feet elevation below tree line. total snow depth was 140 cm. compression test: CTN. extended column test: ECTX. continued loading on both test columns produced failures 110 cm from surface on facets.

No avalanche activity observed, no cracking or woomphing noticed.
