NE Aspect, 11590feet, 38.94954, 106.84175 90cm snow depth with 6-10 inches recent storm snow at surface. CT: Sudden shear at 12 taps. Smooth planar surface, <1mm facets, 45cm from surface. ECT: ECTP18 on same layer, 45cm from surface, <1mm facets.

Avalanche

Deep persistent slab on NE slope remote trigger via skier below on low angle surface. D1, R1 size. Sliding Surface: Ground. Approx 45 degree slope. Distance from trigger to crown face: 100 vertical feet. Height of crown face: approx. 1.5 feet. Ground cover: rocky with some brush. Location of crown face: Ridge. Snow moisture: Dry. Another slide, potentially natural, potentially also remotely triggered on NW aspect of same area. R1, D1, very small, approx. 30m across. Sliding surface: Rocky outcrop.
