Snowpack

On East aspect below and at treeline: the snow surface had a thin, moist layer above F-4F 20-30 cm DF layer and supportive mid pack and ~20 cm of 4F FC basal layer. On East aspect above TL, the upper part of the snowpack has a mix of DF and small FC. In some places, this DF/FC mix is on the surface, under a ~5 cm wind packed (RGwp) or thin Isun crust (IFsc) layer. Seep snowpit for more details.
