Weather

Sky cover was overcast around 12 PM with clouds decreasing to partly cloudy by 3 PM. Very warm.

Snowpack

I hiked on a southerly-facing summer trail and did not encounter any significant snow on the trail. South and southwest facing slopes in this area are free of snow to ridgetop. Southeast facing slopes are still holding snow in above treeline start zones. The snow coverage on east descends further into lower elevations while north-facing snow coverage is thin but exists down to highway level. See photos for more info.
